i have felt the tides of dispair
 latch on and stretch my dreams
pulled back and wash, dissipate
back into a dream-world, so empty.

you've killed the very people
to hear your plea for help
and generate compassion.
i've only wanted for you
what i've ever had myself ... freedom.

and you have pointed aim toward the pagan's temples,
and you have loaded intent with ample amunition,
but you have pulled the trigger on every
  American's gun .. whether they own one in freedom or not.

freedom has no fate as a comodity
just players, standers and runners
in consequence footings
and i am not living in the hopes and dreams
of my parents.
